Who We Are
SION PARK
Founder/ Executive Director
Sion Park is an undergraduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology, majoring in Chemical Engineering with a focus on drug delivery and biomedical research. She is a driven and goal-oriented learner, passionate about applying engineering principles to improve global health technology. With strong interests in biology, chemistry, and therapeutics, she actively engages in research exploring innovative approaches to drug delivery and medical applications. Through hands-on research experiences, Sion seeks to deepen her knowledge and contribute to advances in biomedical science.

HALEY ROMAIN
Co-Founder
Haley Romain is one of the founders of 6 Stem Sisters, is passionate about promoting health and medical research. She enjoys giving back to her local medical communities through volunteer work and would like to inspire others to do the same. Her interests are photography, drawing, and watching Netflix. She is interested in pursuing a career as a Cardiologist and would like to make an impact on others through her research and writing.

MARIANNE MITA
Co-Founder
Marianne Mita dreams of becoming a doctor because she’s fascinated by medicine and she loves researching human diseases and finding out new things about the human body. She also enjoys helping people and tutoring fellow students, especially about medicine or biology. Her love for science was prompted by her parents and her love for Grey’s Anatomy, which she enjoys watching in her downtime. She’s excited to be one of the Six Stem Sisters and hopes to use this medical blog as a way to share her knowledge of current events and medicine with the world while simultaneously learning about what she loves.

MEGHANA LAMMATA
Digital Media Manager/Administrator
Meghana Lammata is a current junior at Bishop Dunne Catholic School. She is interested in the psychological and ethical influences within the STEM field. Furthermore, she wants to encourage others to contribute their voices on STEM topics. Meghana also would like to explore and learn more about subjects related to neuroscience. Ultimately, she hopes to bring awareness and help retention in the STEM field with her articles.
